Express.co.uk News reported that WhatsApp begun notifying their users about changes made to their terms and conditions which will come into effect shortly on February 8. WhatsApp users have now started to receive in-app alerts about this change. It is titled as “WhatsApp is updating its terms and privacy policy” and notifying everyone about some of the “Key Updates”.

The most important thing is that WhatsApp users will have to agree these terms & conditions to continue using this app. In the alert, WhatsApp said “By tapping agree, you accept the new terms and privacy policy, which take effect on February 8, 2021. After this date, you’ll need to accept these updates to continue using WhatsApp. You can also visit the Help Centre if you would prefer to delete your account and would like more information"

According to the WhatsApp, the new updates include more information about WhatsApp’s service and how it processes user data. Further, there are updates on how businesses use Facebook hosted services to store and manage their WhatsApp chats. The new privacy policy also looks at how WhatsApp partners with Facebook to offer integrations across the Facebook Company
