Spotify has shift to a flexible work model after the COVID-19 pandemic. They announced this on February 12, 2021, saying they are adapting a “Work from Anywhere” model which will allow employees to choose whether they want to be in the office full time, be at home full time or a combination of the two.

The company will also introduce more flexibility around locations, so employees will be able to choose the country and city where they work. They are also planning to provide co-working space memberships for employees who choose to work remotely but still want a dedicated workspace.

An increasing amount of companies are starting to consider remote work as a more permanent option due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among these, Salesforce, Twitter and Square have announced their consent about working from home while Microsoft said workers will have more flexibility to work from home.
