20.11.2020 | Google Photos will no longer offer unlimited free photo storage.

Google’s photo which was launched in 2015 has been promising with unlimited uploads. Which was now changed due to their change in storage policy.

A tweet from Google states that “A remarkable 28 billion new photos and videos are uploaded to Photos every week. To welcome even more of your memories and build Google Photos for the future, we are announcing a change to our storage policy”

In it, Google said they will limit the storage to the same 15GB storage per account which is shared in-between their popular apps like Gmail and Google Drive. This means anyone who wishes to store more than the given storage space will have to pay for one of the company’s storage plans. However, photos uploaded before June 2021 will not be included in the user’s limits.
