According to a report from IGN, The second edition of Free Fire World Series (FFWS) will be held in Singapore in May 2021 and boasts a US$ 2,000,000 prize pool – the largest ever featured in the game’s history.
It is also the first Free Fire tournament to be held in a physical setting since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, all Free Fire competitions were held virtually. The first FFWS told to be the largest Free Fire tournament ever was held in 2019 in Rio de Janerio in Brazil and was watched by over two million people at its peak.
This time, a total of 22 teams from across 14 regions will come to Singapore to compete for the US$ 2,000,000 million prize pool, which was one of the largest for a mobile esports title.
