30.3.2021 | Apple pushed out updates for iOS and iPadOS to fix zero-day vulnerability flaws

On March 26, Apple pushed out emergency updates for iOS and iPadOS to fix a zero-day vulnerability flaw in WebKit, the browser-rendering engine underlying Safari and other browsers that run on Apple mobile devices.

The Apple Security Advisory spoke “Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.” Which means it was already being used to hack iPhones and iPads. Updating the device to iOS 14.4.2 and iPadOS 14.4.2 fixes this problem.

You can also force a update by making sure your device is connected to the internet over a local Wi-Fi network, then go to settings > General > Software Update and tapping Download and Install.
