TikTok faced a legal accusation due to tracking of underage user data. This incident could’ve caused the ban on TikTok in the U.S (which it previously avoided luckily) again under the tight watch on its actions.

"A 12-year-old girl from London, who cannot be identified, plans to bring a damages claim against six firms said to be responsible for TikTok and its "predecessor" app Musical.ly for "loss of control of personal data". According to a High Court ruling published on Wednesday, the action alleges the firms have "misused the claimant's private information and processed the claimant's personal data" in breach of EU and UK data protection laws."

The Child Protection Policies of TikTok are still on a loose end and as per the analysis reports, more than 30% of daily TikTok users from the US are all under the age of 14. Although TikTok has a policy of only being able to access all of their features for age 13 and above, it is still needed to regulate harder as more young girls are doing everything they can to garner more likes.
