Recently, WhatsApp which is end-to-end encrypted and owned by Facebook announced that they are sharing user data with Facebook. WhatsApp has done this throughout their history and it’s nothing new. But this leads people to find a more secure app for communications.

One of the recent tweets from Elon Musk (Space X) simply states to use Signal and currently more and more people are joining it. It’s an app run by a non-profit organization and it is end-to-end encrypted like other messaging apps on the mainstream and it’s independent – meaning you won’t have to fear anything about sharing your data to any third-party companies.

Signal has previously been the communication method of choice for activists, people in the hacker community, and others who concerned about their privacy. It has no customizable features like wallpapers or anything. But when it comes to privacy, it’s the safest.
