The payment card will be linked to the Huawei Pay service, which was introduced to the Chinese market in 2016. In the meantime, it has expanded to Hong Kong, Russia, Pakistan and entered Singapore a few days ago.

On Huawei Card, the company cooperates with the largest Chinese card issuer UnionPay, local competition Visa or Mastercard.

Holders of this news can look forward to many benefits. They will be able to use the credit card for the first year free of charge, and in the second year they will be exempt from charges if they have a minimum number of transactions.

With the card, they also automatically have access to the lounge at airports and some train stations or casback for regular payments.

After numerous scandals of this Chinese giant, the question of security also arises. According to recent observations, however, it will work with all digital data with an emphasis on security and maximum care.

It is not yet clear when the new product will reach the market. However, it can be assumed that it will initially be limited to China only and will not be extended to other countries until later.
