According to a news article from Express.co.uk – YouTube has introduced a tool to prevent any uploading which infringes with the copyright materials onto their video-sharing site including videos, songs and game footages.
The tool was developed by their parent company “Google” and it was intended to prevent uploading copyrighted materials onto their video-sharing website by users.
Google will now scan the whole content while the video uploading process is running via this tool to check if there are any copyrighted materials inside the video content without given permission. Now, it has been integrated to their YouTube platform and because of that, many YouTubers will have to ask permission from the owner of copyrighted material before adding them into their own video contents.
