On last week, the Fortnite game’s creator Epic Games has filed a preliminary injunction in an attempt to make a comeback from Apple’s “app store ban”. According to the statistics shown by Epics, a third of its player base comes from iOS and by doing so, Apple will lose more than Epic. Since the ban, the users accessing Fortnite from iOS has dropped by over 60% and 63% of its users are playing Fortnite only on iOS devices.

“Apple is a monopolist, they are controlling all app distributions on iOS and all in-app payment purchasing for digital content on iOS. By unlawfully doing so, they can prevent any competitors from entering their market” Epic also said in their filing.
