Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks reportedly said they will be re-open to the public with limited capacity on April 30, 2021. This also includes more than 10,000 cast members who are returning to work at the parks and hotels.

The various hotels at the Disneyland Resort will also be opening in phases, beginning with Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on April 29. The Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel will reopen sometime in the future, although no date has been officially announced.

All of Disneyland theme parks and chain ventures were closed like many other businesses due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which forced California into lockdown for over a year. In an effort to promote social distancing in the otherwise crowded parks, Disneyland will utilize a new park reservation system that requires guests to reserve their spot in advance. However, only California residents are permitted to enter the parks at this time.
