As per the news report by Ars, with intentions to solve the problem of forgotten passwords, Chrome and Edge has released a built-in password managers.

On last Thursday, January 25th, Microsoft introduced a newly released browser called Edge 88 with a built-in password generator.  Users will be able to use this tool when opening a new account or changing to a new password and easily choose a password from a drop down list shown by the password generator and save it to the browser. The browser then remembers the password for future use automatically. You will also be able to sync your passwords with your smartphone using the Edge password sync function.

Edge 88 also includes a new feature called “Password monitor” which can notify its users directly when a hacker post your passwords on a website or a blog.
