According to Reuters, Amazon is planning to install AI supported video cameras on their Delivery Vans. They said this is intended to improve safety for their Drivers and the community in which they deliver the deliveries to.

According to a statement made on Febuaray 03, “This technology will provide drivers real-time alerts to help them stay safe when they are on the road.”

These cameras which were made by a Transportation Technology Company called Netradyne can use AI technology to automatically detect speedings, distractions and warn about these to the drivers.
